About our Hair Salon & Day Spa
Designed by Maier Design Group of West Hartford, our salon was featured in Design Solutions Magazine and received a Design Excellence Award from the American Woodwork Association. The hair salon boasts state-of-the-art European hair salon stations. The day spa features five nail stations, three pedicure stations and six privates rooms to provide you with the most relaxing and rejuvenating facials and massages. If you so desire, you can even shower after your massage. And you’ll have complete privacy while we apply eyelash extensions and permanent cosmetics or wax away that unwanted hair. About Our Hair Care Specialists
Mark Palumbo, Sr. opened the salon in 1980. Family-owned and operated for 28 years, Mark’s children, Mark Palumbo, Jr. and Michele Brotz are now an integral part of your salon experience. Mark, Sr. has been certified as a National Educator for IT&LY Hair Fashion North America. Following in his father’s footsteps, Mark, Jr. is carrying on that tradition. Madison Avenue Hair & Skin Salon now provides you with two generations of color expertise.
Our 18 staff members are professionally trained, graduating from top schools throughout CT and beyond. As new procedures are introduced, the members of our staff continue to learn and grow in order to provide you with the most cutting-edge beauty and spa treatments.
