While rollerblading together, more than fifteen years ago, we talked about starting a body and skin care business, combining our gifts and training to create the kind of salon we would like to go to. That meant using state of the art equipment with a highly trained professional staff, all in a tranquil and elegant atmosphere. We use the finest products and tailor each treatment for our clients’ needs. We have been voted “Best of the Gold Coast” for excellence in waxing, pedicures, and manicures, with recognition and thanks to our staff. Years of cooperation and hard work have helped turn our dream into a reality.

From the beginning, we also made a commitment to do what we could to help cancer patients, since our families had been so touched by the disease. We have concentrated on this aspect of our business even more so since Marylou was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a unique reconstructive surgical procedure, performed at The New York Presbyterian Hospital by Dr. Gregory S. LaTrenta, internationally known reconstructive and plastic surgeon and a specialist in this technique. Over the course of surgery and follow-up treatment, Marylou and Dr. LaTrenta came to realize that they shared similar views on health, patient care and customer service. From this experience came both a new friendship and a new dimension to our business. By working with Dr. LaTrenta, we are able to research and implement the best methods available to help our clients and patients look and feel their best.

We are also excited to have Kenneth Tepper, Artistic Director of New York’s Stephen Knoll hair salon, make regular guest appearances at Williams & Warren.

Julia Ambrosi is the manager of Williams & Warren. She graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in communications. Julia is fully versed in our service list as well as our product lines. She will be able to coordinate your appointments and needs to maximize your areas of concern, comfort and satisfaction.
